The course is only for members of the DRUG ENFORCEMENT AGENCY NPO who want to join the Elite High Risk Unit or Street Crimes Unit.

This course is open to any race, male or female. A 94% pass rate is required, but not limited to.

Our basic training program includes the following curriculum:

Assessment/ Physical Fitness and Strength (PREPCON)

• 3.5-kilometre run for twenty (20) minutes.
• Thirty (30) consecutive and uninterrupted push‐ups in one (1) minute
• Ten (10) twenty‐five (25) meter sprints in sixty‐five (65) seconds.

Endurance

A ten (10) kilometer walk carrying five (5) kilograms in three (3) hours.
Weapons Training – Six (6) Weeks

• The use of assault rifles
• The use of shotguns
• The use of pistols
• Unarmed combat
• Use of Pepper Sprays.

Urban Operations – Eight (8) Weeks

• Urban reconnaissance
• Securing dangerous suspects
• Securing dangerous barricaded suspects
• High‐risk urban operations
• Basic urban tracking
• First Aid and Basic Medical training
• Planning, command, and control of urban operations
• Vehicle Penetration
• House Penetration
